Leather Notes: From waste to winning … Our eco-conscious recycled leather is made from ground leather scraps and natural resins. It has the essential properties of leather without the harm to the environment.

The Making of Recycled Leather
- Leather scraps are recovered from factories that make belts, bags, and jackets. The scraps are ground into a fine powder.
- The leather powder is then mixed with natural latex and resin: 80% leather, 19% natural latex, and 1% resin.
- A thick dough is created and then pressed through rollers to achieve the desired thickness.
- The rolled dough is carefully dried and then stained in custom colours.
- The leather rolls are then ready to be embossed, die-cut, and made into recycled leather products.
